AF: Tonight at midnight, credit drops to 75%

What this means is that if you START after midnight, you are looking at 75% instead of 100% of what you EARNED.

But, Late Starters -- you've already demonstrated that you're something of a rebel, waiting for the last couple of weeks of summer to even start blogging -- so why worry about 75% on ONE PART of a multi-faceted assignment?  It's not such a big deal to get a C on the blog.  You can easily survive that, work hard, and get your B or even A by the semester's end in December.

So don't throw your hands up in despair.  Just get going.  Many great writers and students of the past have been where you are today.  

The secret to this is to stare right into the approaching deadline, and ACT -- don't collapse into an ineffectual heap.  GET TO WORK and you'll be fine.  I swear it.
