We have a problem. Some students are having trouble with the disappearing comment -- they type in their comment, hit publish, and the whole thing just vanishes. That's happened to me too. But it doesn't ALWAYS happen, so I can't find the variable.
I know several of you have had this issue. What is the solution? I have had to post comments on behalf of many of you because this happens, but that obviously is not the answer. Any thoughts?

ReplyDeleteThis has not happened to me in regards to commenting on the blog posts, however I have had some problems with creating my own and I have spoken with others and seen that I am not the only one with this problem. I believe the website keeps crashing and when I tried to reload it, all of my work was gone and I had to start over.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what the issue is (it could honestly just be my computer) but I found that copying it before you submit your comment/post just in case it disappears and the website reloads will save you from having to rewrite it.

I am a little late, but if you are an apple user and your comments keep disappearing it's because of safari's high privacy settings. To rid yourself of this problem, Go to your Safari -> Settings -> Privacy -> uncheck "Prevent cross-site tracking."
ReplyDeleteAnother way is to use chrome :)
